The most important of these are the correct choice of mode of transport, the definition of the contract, time planning and specific, in-depth checks and testing carried out by professionals as the goods reach Italian customs. These services are backed with an analysis of the global incoming and outgoing goods flow for the client and measures to optimise both costs and timescales of transport, with fully functional “Goods transport plans”.

Transport

Grain Services manages transport by road, rail, ship and container, whether in loose, sack or big–bag form. Each individual situation is analysed on a case by case basis, implementing eitherspot contracts or cadenced plans for programmed, continuous supplycontracts.

Price freezing

One of our more advanced services is the planning of continuous transport contracts with frozen prices. This process, which is applicable only in very special cases, is used to make precise, continuous logistical management plans for periodical supply contracts, by stipulating special terms with the shipping companies and defining contracts offering long term, guaranteed cost effective conditions.
